11. Michigan Wolverines – Devin Bush, LB

The Michigan Wolverines are in a good position to make 2018 their best season under head coach Jim Harbaugh. They added transfer quarterback Shea Patterson to compete for the starting job. The offense as a whole has continued to grow and develop, while the defense looks as strong as they have in recent memory.

So where does their most valuable player lie? In the case of this team, Devin Bush is as key to their success as anyone. While many will point to Rashan Gary, Bush does just about everything for Michigan on defense.

Last season, he accumulated 95 total tackles, 10 of which were tackles for loss. He found a way to get to the quarterback and put up five and a half sacks. Bush also found his way into passing lanes, intercepting one pass and breaking up seven more. There’s not much more you can ask from your linebacker than what Bush can do.

Not only that, he will also be the heart and soul of the defense in 2018 as an upperclassman. Look for Bush’s production to go up and for him to take control out on the field this season. As stated before, the defense for Michigan looks great, but they would suffer a major setback if Devin Bush were to miss time.
