45. Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns
Chubb didn’t have a good first preseason showing, but that won’t knock him out of the rotation. He’s the top candidate for increased touches should the injury-prone Carlos Hyde miss any action.
44. Ty Montgomery, Green Bay Packers
Montgomery’s ability as a pass catcher means that he won’t be easily phased out of the action. He has developed a nice rhythm with Aaron Rodgers which counts for a lot. Rodgers will be looking for familiar faces after losing Jordy Nelson.
43. Chase Edmonds, Arizona Cardinals
David Johnson appears to be back at full strength, but I wouldn’t rule out the Cardinals protecting their top playmaker some. Chase Edmonds is the team’s top backup option bringing power to the mix.
He’s someone you want to target as a Johnson handcuff or if you want to play the high risk-high reward game.

42. Gio Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals
Bernard remains one of the top receiving backs in the league. His elusiveness and speed make him a big-play threat. However, Joe Mixon sits atop the depth chart and is also a very accomplished pass-catching back. It’s going to be tough for Bernard to get consistent touches.
41. D’Onta Foreman, Houston Texans
Foreman’s fantasy situation depends a lot on his health. He is still working his way back from an Achilles injury with his status for the beginning of the year still in question. However, the Texans seem ready to give him an opportunity to seize the starting role once he is back on the field.
