The second weekend of the Premier League is almost upon us. Here are five bold predictions for all the action during matchweek 2.

The Premier League returns Saturday, with Wolves travelling to Leicester and Arsenal facing a difficult trip to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea.

Unai Emery and Maurizio Sarri will have their first head to head while Huddersfield face the tough task of playing against Manchester City in the Champions opening home game.

Here are five bold predictions for all the action.

1. Crystal Palace upset Liverpool

The final game of the second Premier League weekend sees Liverpool travel south to face Crystal Palace on Monday. Both of these sides started their seasons with good wins — Palace getting a 2-0 win at promoted Fulham and Liverpool demolishing West Ham 4-0 at Anfield.

However, this match will prove a much sterner test for both sides.

Liverpool have some unwanted history at Selhurst Park as they famously squandered their title chances there a few years ago.

The Eagles have thrived under Roy Hodgson and the stability he’s brought to the club should give the London club a good chance of at least finishing in the top half this season.

The biggest challenge for Hodgson’s side will be keeping Liverpool quiet in the first half hour of the match. If they can frustrate Jurgen Klopp’s team then they may be able to capitalize on that.

Palace have also had a recent boost with their star player, Wilfried Zaha, signing a brand new contract with the club.

This should be a tight match with both sides being competitive. This week we fancy a big upset though and Crystal Palace to take all three points as they leave Liverpool frustrated.
