Preview
The biggest thing for the Cowboys to work on during the preseason is developing chemistry between Prescott and his receivers. There are a few new faces in the mix with Allen Hurns, Michael Gallup, Tavon Austin and Deonte Thompson.
Last week, Gallup showed that he has some real upside. He might be the most talented receiver on the roster and could push himself into a big role early in the season.
Cincinnati is working to solidify their offensive line and figure out the best starting five. Trey Hopkins and Bobby Hart got the starting nod in the first preseason game and it looks to be trending in the same direction this week.
Having those two in the starting lineup means former high draft picks Cedric Ogbuehi and Jake Fisher are on the bench.
Sleepers to Watch
Josh Malone doesn’t come with the same amount of fanfare as an A.J. Green or John Ross, but he has a chance to be a real contributor. He features a combination of good size and explosiveness. Malone has already shown plenty of flashes in his young career.
Rookie Connor Williams is penciled in as the starting left guard which gives him a great chance to hang onto the job. This would mean that two of Cameron Fleming, La’el Collins or Chaz Green will be sitting on the bench.
