Real Madrid vs. Getafe live stream: Watch La Liga online

Real Madrid face Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, August 19. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Real Madrid will play their first La Liga match since 2009-10 without Cristiano Ronaldo. Their all-time top scorer left for Juventus in the summer after a long back-and-forth between he and the club. His transfer will likely allow Gareth Bale to start more often and be used in a bigger role going forward. Madrid lost 4-2 to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup last Wednesday, and their lineup remained largely the same as last year’s when they won the Champions League. Their two biggest signings were Vincius Junior, an 18-year-old winger from Brazilian side Flamengo, and Chelsea’s Number 1 Thibaut Courtois. They’ll face a moderately tough task against Getafe, who finished in 8th last season.
Getafe was a bit of a surprise last season, finishing in the top half of La Liga after their promotion the season before and just missing out on a European birth. They didn’t pull off many upsets in league play, but simply beat the teams in the bottom half of the table to secure a spot for the 2018-19 season. The worrying aspect regarding Getafe, however, is that their three top scorers last season are all 31-years-old or older. They’ll need to find younger forwards that can help take the load off if they want to survive long-term.
