WWE SummerSlam 2018 Kickoff Show live stream: Watch online
Before the action begins at WWE SummerSlam, the kickoff show will take place. Here’s a look at how to watch it online.
On Sunday, Aug. 19, the 2018 WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view will transpire from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Regarded as the WWE’s second-biggest show of the year, it will see some of the company’s biggest names compete in matches for championships, bragging rights or to end a feud.
However, before everything starts, there will be a two-hour pre-show, potentially making the show a six or seven-hour affair. It provides all the sports entertainment that WWE fans can handle, and that’s before Monday’s episode of Raw and Tuesday’s SmackDown Live.
WWE has three matches planned for the SummerSlam Kickoff Show, featuring superstars from Raw, SmackDown Live and 205 Live:
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match
Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Drew Gulak
Raw Tag Team Championship Match
The B-Team (c) vs. The Revival
Mixed Tag Team Match
Rusev and Lana vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas and Zelina Vega
It’s a small spotlight for these matches, but they will all have the opportunity to shine in front of however many people are inside the Barclays Center before the main show starts. 2017’s SummerSlam Kickoff Show featured partially empty crowds for its pre-show bouts, so everyone might not be around to see these titles on the line and the feud culminate between Rusev and Lana and Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega.
