Fantasy Football 2018: Ranking the top 25 tight ends
By Jon Dove
20. Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins
Gesicki is a great target for late in your fantasy draft. He’s someone with big-time upside and could be one of the better red zone options on the Dolphins. Gesicki is already lining up with the starters so he’ll see plenty of action.
19. Ricky Seals-Jones, Arizona Cardinals
Seals-Jones had some terrific performances late last year with the Arizona Cardinals. He is in line to be the team’s starting tight end and involved in the game plan. The presence of Sam Bradford and Josh Rosen helps the value of all Arizona’s pass catchers.
18. Charles Clay, Buffalo Bills
Clay will remain part of the Bills game plan and could develop into the team’s top target. He might not be flashy but he’ll provide solid production each week.
17. Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
16. O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It’s extremely difficult to predict how the Buccaneers will utilize their tight ends. This obviously makes a ton of sense for the team to keep defenses guessing, but it is frustrating for fantasy owners.
Howard is the more physically gifted of the two, but Brate brings more experience to the lineup. The Buccaneers to try to keep both players involved and find mismatches at every turn. However, it’s not enough to propel either player into the top-10 for fantasy purposes.
