Where can you find this weeks episode of Snowfall online?

On Snowfall it seems like someone is about to get stabbed in the back, figuratively at least. In the final scene of episode 5 we found out that Soledad, Pedro’s fiancé was in fact using him to inform on Lucia and the cartel at large. With how the storylines have begun to intersect, that could spell trouble for Franklin and Teddy as well. Who Soledad was reporting to wasn’t made perfectly clear, but I somehow doubt Teddy’s plan to use drug money to fund the Contras would go over well. And that’s outside of the whole selling drugs business, which is fairly illegal in and of itself.

In the second season of Snowfall, the three main storylines have been moving steadily toward each other. Based on what you can see in this episode’s PROMO we may see all three of them caught in a single conflict, and maybe even pulling for one result. It’s interesting that all three of them are definitely pro-drug, but for different reasons. Lucia sees her involvement as almost a matter of honor, taking the reins of her family business. Teddy uses the drugs as merely a means to an end, a small part in a much larger puzzle.

And Franklin seems to enjoy the relative power and influence his association with the drugs, and drug dealing, has given him. He is, in many ways, the coldest of the three. He doesn’t have any real personal (or emotional) attachments to the drugs. He doesn’t use them, at least we’ve never seen it, and seems solely motivated by the money. That’s not to say he is any worse than, say, Lucia (though I’m a little surprised nothing has come of her decision, earlier this season, to try her own drugs.) It’s just a very cold and calculating outlook for someone relatively new to the scene.
