The Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears meet in the NFL’s third preseason week at Soldier Field, with two old friends pitted against each other.
Andy Reid and Matt Nagy were on the same sideline a year ago. Now, Nagy has his first head-coaching gig with the Chicago Bears, while Reid enters his sixth campaign with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The two friends meet on Saturday afternoon, with Kansas City visiting the Windy City for each team’s third preseason game, the second time they’ve met at this point in three summers.
Kansas City and Chicago are both starting second-year quarterbacks, with one having considerably more hype than the other. Patrick Mahomes has only started one game for the visitors, and yet he owns football Twitter after chucking a 69-yard touchdown to Tyreek Hill last year — all of which traveled in the air.

On there other side if Mitchell Trubisky, who has much more help around him than he did in 2017. The Bears went out and aggressively pursued weapons to put around their prized quarterback, adding tight end Trey Burton and receivers Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel.
Both teams are coming into the contest at 1-1 (if preseason records is what does it for you), and the starters are likely to play at least one half if not into the third quarter.
