2018 PPR Cheat Sheet Part 2: Round by Round Break Down

Here we are, 2018 PPR cheat sheet: Round by Round Break Down.  Dominating rounds 7 through 12 will be our focus today.

The first 6 rounds are in the books.  This section of the draft is where we really begin to see the fruits of our labor.  I guarantee you have sixth round talent remaining on your cheat sheet.  I’ll even venture so far as to say there’s a fifth rounder or two still waiting for you to scoop them from these clowns you’re drafting with.  Obviously trust the process and continue to  draft players who everyone else passed up in the round you value them being drafted in.

If you are clueless right now about what I’m talking, scroll down and click the link to direct you back to my article/ cheat sheet covering rounds 1 through 7 as well as my explanation of why breaking down your cheat sheet by in this way is so valuable.

This 6 round gauntlet that lies ahead is where a lot of your league mates will start reaching for mediocre players, make  their picks with no confidence, possibly draft a player that’s out with an injury for the season and my personal fave. grabbing a third QB or TE due to familiarity.  Those L’s are all W’s for us.  In fact we love every minute of it.  We ain’t scared, not even a little bit.  Our preparedness has provided us the luxury of basking in our own self-confidence.  We’re prepared for anything thrown our way.

Here’s how rounds 7 through 12 of my 2018 PPR cheat sheet takes shape.

2018 PPR Cheat Sheet Part 2: Round by Round Break Down

Round 7:

  1. Tevin Coleman, RB, ATL
  2. Jamison Crowder, WR, WAS
  3. Andrew Luck, QB, IND
  4. Alshon Jeffery, WR, PHI
  5. Tarik Cohen, RB, CHI
  6. DeShaun Watson, QB, HOU
  7. Sammy Watkins, WR, KC
  8. Kenny Stills, WR, MIA
  9. Carson Wentz, QB, PHI
  10. Peyton Barber, RB, TB
  11. Robby Anderson, WR, NYJ
  12. Emmanual Sanders, WR, DEN
  13. Sony Michel, RB, NE

Carson Wentz was rolling last season on his way to potentially winning the league’s MVP award. Fantasy owners that grabbed him early last year were ecstatic their decision paid off.  Wentz threw for just under 3300 yards, ran for just under 300 yards while throwing 33 touchdowns in just 13 games.  Draft him knowing he may not play week 1.

Round 8:

  1. Kirk Cousins, QB, MIN
  2. Big Ben, QB, PIT
  3. Jordan Reed, TE, WAS
  4. Sterling Shepherd, WR, NYG
  5. Nelson Agholor, WR, PHI
  6. Will Fuller, WR, HOU
  7. Jamaal Williams, RB, GB
  8. Matt Ryan, QB, ATL
  9. Devin Funchess, WR, CAR
  10. Keelan Cole, WR, JAX
  11. Adrian Peterson, RB, WAS
  12. Kerryon Johnson, RB, DET
  13. Rashaad Penny, RB, SEA

Keelan Cole finished his 2017 rookie season on fire.  Cole had 19 catches, averaged 111 yards per game and scored 3 touchdowns in weeks 12 through 15.  Look for Cole to step in as the Jags WR1 after the unfortunate injury to Marquise Lee.

Round 9:

  1. Rishard Matthews, WR, TEN
  2. Aaron Jones, RB, GB
  3. Ronald Jones II, RB, TB
  4. Phillip Rivers, QB, LAC
  5. Matt Stafford, QB, DET
  6. Pierre Garçon, WR, SF
  7. Delanie Walker, TE, TEN
  8. Kyle Rudolph, TE, MIN
  9. Chris Godwin, WR, TB
  10. Devante Parker, WR, MIA
  11. Josh Doctson, WR, WAS
  12. Isiah Crowell, RB, NYJ
  13. Corey Clement, RB, PHI

I’m a huge Chris Godwin truther ever since his days at Penn St.  Godwin’s ball skills are elite.  The soon to be 22-year-old makes spectacular catches on contested balls.  He averaged a massive 16 yards per reception in 2017.  This kid has all the tools needed to ascend the ranks inside the top 24 WR’s in 2018.

2018 PPR Cheat Sheet Part 2: Round by Round Break Down

Round 10:

  • Jacksonville Jaguars D/ST
  • Tyler Lockett, WR, SEA
  • LeGarrette Blount, RB, DET
  • Anthony Miller, WR, CHI
  • Minnesota Vikings, D/ST

    Gio Bernard, RB, CIN

  • Trey Burton, TE, CHI
  • Latavius Murray, RB, MIN
  • Nick Chubb, RB, CLE

  • D.J. Moore, WR, CAR
  • David Njoku, TE, CLE
  • Allen Hurns, WR, DAL
  • James White

    , RB, NE

    More from FanSided

Be very aware of your league’s defensive scoring settings.  The Jags D/ST as well as round 10’s Viking D/ST are worth  picks in the 9th and 10th rounds respectively.  If your league’s settings aren’t yet tweaked correctly and you’re  in a league where D/ST’s average double-digit points, exploit that loophole and grab the top overall D/ST here.

    Round 11:

    1. Jimmy Garoppolo, QB, SF
    2. George Kittle, TE, SF
    3. Devontae Booker, RB, DEN
    4. Jack Doyle, TE, IND
    5. Mike Williams, WR, LAC
    6. Ty Montgomery, RB, GB
    7. D’Onta Foreman, RB, HOU
    8. Kenny Golladay, WR, DET
    9. Nyheim Hines, RB, IND
    10. C.J. Anderson, RB, CAR
    11. Frank Gore, RB, MIA
    12. Kelvin Benjamin, WR, DEN
    13. L.A. Chargers, D/ST
    14. Marcus Mariota, QB, TEN

Mike Williams was drafted 7th overall in 2017 by the L.A. Chargers.  A herniated disk  followed by a knee injury completely derailed Williams’ rookie season. 6’4”, 220 pound Williams is healthy to start the year for a Charger team that has plenty of weapons to take the heat off the obvious red zone threat in 2018.

    Round 12:

    1. Bilal Powell, RB, NYJ
    2. John Ross, WR, CIN
    3. Javorius Allen, RB, BAL
    4. Alex Smith, QB, WAS
    5. Jared Goff, QB, LAR
    6. Pat Mahomes, QB, KC
    7. Paul Richardson, WR, WAS
    8. O.J. Howard, TE, TB
    9. Samaje Perine, RB, WAS
    10. Rob Kelly, RB, WAS
    11. Dez Bryant, FA
    12. Eric Ebron, TE, IND
    13. Charles Clay, TE, BUF
    14. Jared Cook, TE, OAK

Reports out of Indy praising Ebron were plentiful this off-season.  Andrew Luck is healthy, order has been restored to the Colt universe.  Ebron is a more athletic TE than incumbent starter Jack Doyle.  E.E. will have a great opportunity to resurrect his career with the Colts if new head coach, Frank Reich uses him the way he and Doug Pederson used Zach Ertz in their Super Bowl winning Eagle offense.
