45. Marko Guduric, SG, Fenerbahce

Nationality/College: Serbian

2017-18 stats: 7.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists per game (Fenerbahce)

Career synopsis: The 23-year old Serb broke out in a big way last season, progressing from Crvena Zvezda’s legendary Serbian pipeline to being a part-time starter for an elite Fenerbahce team last year. This will be his fourth Euroleague season, and third as a regular rotation player.

Representative Highlight Play:

What’s his skill set?: Guduric is primarily a scoring two-guard, with a knack for shooting from the moon and using his handle to free up space. He’s maturing into more of a playmaker, but shooting will always be his go-to.

What makes him special?: Guduric is on this list because of his scoring, but the real attraction is the swagger he brings to the court. No one thinks Marko Guduric is as good a basketball player as Marko Guduric does, and his game reflects that, with a constant smirk on his face and a game that, while it might shoot you straight out of every fourth or fifth contest, sets the tone for the rest of the offense, confidence-wise. Given that aspect has always seemed to be a staple of Zeljko Obradovic offenses at Fenerbahce thanks to Bogdan Bogdanovic and Ali Muhammad, Guduric is a perfect fit. Without Wanamaker around, this could be his year to make a leap into real Euroleague stardom.
