Week 2: Sept. 8 – Clemson vs. Texas A&M (College Station, TX)

The second week of the season in college football showcases a battle between two powerhouse programs. The Clemson Tigers will hit the road to take on Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies at College Station.

When it comes to the schedule for that week, this is by far and away the best game. A national championship contender from the ACC against an SEC team looking to rebound and put themselves back into the discussion among top teams.

Kyle Field is a tough place for any team to travel to and this will be a great early test for the Tigers. As a championship favorite, Clemson getting an early road test in a hostile environment will give them a litmus test of where they stand.

It will also be a great opportunity for Fisher to see where his team stands against a program he has coached against several times from his days as the head coach of the Florida State Seminoles. This is a great early season marquee battle.

Clemson boasts talent across the board and should have the most lethal defense in college football this season. This is the safest bet as to where College GameDay will likely end up during Week 2.
