Week 7: Oct. 13 – Georgia vs. LSU (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Georgia Bulldogs are likely going to get a lot of love from College GameDay this season whether it’s at home or on the road. The national runner-ups in 2017, Georgia has built a deep roster that could be the next big thing in college football.

They’re poised to compete for it all again this season and will look to run over the SEC, in hopes of reaching the conference championship game. They would love nothing more than a chance to beat Alabama in that setting.

On October 13, there will be options for where College GameDay should go. Week 7 features a good battle on paper between the Georgia Bulldogs and the LSU Tigers. Death Valley is always a tough venue for any opponent.

If Ed Orgeron’s team can avoid the early slip-ups that have caused them some issues, this could be a marquee game in early October. The Bulldogs and Tigers have some of the best fans in college football and this is the setting that is usually picked.

Another potential option for this week is a battle between the Michigan State Spartans and Penn State Nittany Lions. If LSU doesn’t start the season off hot and the two Big Ten programs are rolling, that would be a strong choice.
