Week 8: Oct. 20 – Oklahoma vs. TCU (Fort Worth, TX)

When it comes to predicting who will the Big-12 in 2018, there are two teams who stand out. They’ll meet toward the end of October when the TCU Horned Frogs host the Oklahoma Sooners in Week 8.

These two are no strangers to battling each other and could wind up facing each other for a Big-12 Championship yet again if they’re top two in the conference at the end of the regular season this year.

While the Red River Showdown with Oklahoma and Texas is the most popular Big-12 game, these two are on paper the best two in the conference right now. Therefore, this game holds a lot more weight in regards to a potential playoff spot.

The Sooners turned the offense over to Kyler Murray this season after Baker Mayfield was selected first overall in the NFL Draft. Murray has decided to play this season after being drafted into the MLB.

With a big spotlight on him and the Sooners, they have yet another big game in October after playing Texas a couple of weeks prior. When the two best teams in a conference meet, College GameDay is likely on the scene.
