Predicting when every NHL team will win its next Stanley Cup

Find out when your favorite NHL team will win its next Stanley Cup championship
Since the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup back in June, there are now 11 NHL teams that haven’t collected Stanley Cup rings (Arizona Coyotes, Buffalo Sabres, Columbus Blue Jackets, Florida Panthers, Minnesota Wild, Nashville Predators, San Jose Sharks, St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks, Vegas Golden Knights, Winnipeg Jets).
While the remaining 20 NHL teams that weren’t mentioned above have all won at least one Stanley Cup championship, FanSided predicts when all 31 clubs will win their first or next Stanley Cup.
Anaheim Ducks
After winning the club’s first Stanley Cup back in 2007, the Anaheim Ducks were thought to be a potential dynasty in the making. Though, captain Ryan Getzlaf and point-producer Corey Perry, haven’t reached the Cup Final since that time.
Yes, Anaheim has reached the Western Conference Finals twice since 2007, but there’s an aspect that portrays the idea that the Ducks’ window to win another championship in the near future has closed. Or, has it?
The Ducks have flown under the radar recently with bringing in youthful assets and acquiring other veteran skaters to help build a Stanley Cup caliber squad.
The biggest key for the Ducks right now is that they’re deep down the middle of the ice with the likes of Getzlaf, Ryan Kesler, Adam Henrique and a fourth slot that’s flexible with a couple of other skaters on the team’s roster. Let’s not forget that John Gibson is arguably on the verge of blossoming into a top-tier netminder.
Gibson, 25, is fresh off of his first 30-win campaign (31-18-7) and his overall exposure during the regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs is invaluable.
The right mix of veterans and youth skaters are there, and so is the goaltender on the rise, but can the defense-core make serious strides forward this season? Another blockbuster trade is necessary for the upcoming campaign, but expect Anaheim to win the Stanley Cup in 2021.
