Paul McCartney – Everton

Three things likely come to mind when you think of Liverpool, England. Liverpool, Everton and the Beatles. The Fab Four got their start in the working class English town, and over the course of the 60s became household names. By the year 1970, they were one of the biggest music acts of all time. Their music has lived on through generations, inspiring countless artist to create all around the world. They sold over 178 million records as a unit, and at one time held the record for the most number one hits by any artist or group.

Paul McCartney is perhaps the most famous and enduring Beatle, as to this day he enjoys a successful and prosperous career as a solo artist. McCartney has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Kanye West and Rihanna.

The Beatles held their soccer affiliations close to the vest, and McCartney has gone on the record saying that he is somehow both a fan of Liverpool and Everton, despite the two clubs being the fiercest and most hated of rivals. However, history shows that when it comes down to it, McCartney prefers the blue boys from Goodison Park.
