3. Andy Dalton finishes as a top-10 fantasy quarterback

Last year was a disaster for the Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals. They dealt with a string of injuries and just couldn’t find an offensive rhythm. So far this preseason the Bengals offense looks much improved.

Cincinnati’s big playmakers are healthy and ready to produce. A.J. Green remains the go-to receiver, but others have flashed their potential.

John Ross showed on multiple occasions why he was the No. 8 overall pick in the 2017 draft. He’s a major deep threat who has the speed to outpace the defensive backfield. Look for him to really open things up for the running game and other pass catchers.

The versatility of the Bengals running backs should help pad Dalton’s stats. Both Joe Mixon and Gio Bernard are accomplished pass catchers with big-play ability.

This year’s Bengals also has more depth at wide receiver. Josh Malone and Tyler Boyd have shown flashes throughout training camp. Both have the upside to seize a more prominent role in the offensive game plan.

Maybe the biggest reason Dalton could finish in the top-10 is the health of Tyler Eifert. Dalton and Eifert have a strong connect that especially shows up in the red zone.
