The #8 Miami Hurricanes square off against the #25 LSU Tigers in Texas Stadium on Sunday for a Labor Day Weekend jam-packed with college football. Which team will start the season with a big win?

The start of college football may officially have started but the real beginning is Labor Day Weekend. There are four battles featuring two teams in the top 25. On Sunday, the only game is Miami and LSU. The two teams will travel to the home of the Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium, to play a neutral field tilt. This will be another year that Arlington, TX hosts a marquee game of the opening weekend of college football. Last year the Florida Gators and Michigan Wolverines were featured here.

Miami is coming off a season that saw a meteoric rise come crashing to the ground to end the season. The Turnover Chain became a national treasure and helped bring the Miami swagger back. Hopes are high in South Beach, especially with a preseason Top 10 ranking in the AP poll. Head coach Mark Richt is understandably looking like the star many thought he was at Georgia.

LSU, like Miami, ended the season with a bowl game loss. Their head coach, Ed Orgeron, is familiar with the Hurricanes having spent four years coaching the defensive line under Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson. His Tigers will need to rebound off a four-loss season, viewed as a disappointment by many. The talent is there for this team to be a powerhouse in 2018.
