Los Angeles Lakers — Jack Nicholson

How many stories are there about this guy? When it comes down to NBA fandom, there might not be a bigger celebrity fan than Jack Nicholson.

Many celebrities have attended games with Nicholson before, but some have seen what it’s like to be on the other side.

Television host Maria Menounos, a big Celtics fan, was attending a game with fellow Celtics fan Dane Cook. Nicholson didn’t like it, so he actually called Jerry Buss and had them removed from the sideline.

Nicholson has been there with the Lakers in their good and bad times, but there have been times when he gets fed up. While attending a game with Adam Sandler, the duo bailed on the Lakers.

With six minutes remaining and the Lakers down 19 points, Nicholson didn’t see a path for LA to come back and win. He kept telling Sandler they were leaving, but Sandler wanted to stay and see it through.

Jack, of course, got the final say.

He got up and left, and Sandler felt he had no other choice but to follow suit.

Nicholson’s fandom has definitely been tested, however, especially in the past few seasons. In 2015, a season where the Lakers finished off at 21-61, Nicholson’s fandom was losing its luster.

In a TMZ street interview, Nicholson said he wasn’t going to as many games and that he was always willing to sell his tickets at face value.

Three years later, however, LA has made some strides and now have LeBron James. It’s hard to imagine Jack missing out on many games from here on out.
