San Antonio Spurs — Samuel L. Jackson
In my initial list, Selena Gomez held this spot. Selena Gomez is absolutely a Spurs fan, absolutely a famous Spurs fan, and on most accounts, seems to be a pretty good fan.
After doing some research, I came across this, and it lost her the spot.
While doing an interview to promote her new movie Hotel Transylvania 3, Gomez was asked about the drama going on inside the Spurs organization. Gomez didn’t know what was going on.
"“It’s hilarious,” she starts. “I think – I don’t know. I think it’s so funny.” Taylor doesn’t give up that easily though. “I think there’s some bad blood there,” he says. Samberg notes that the drama comes out of nowhere, while Gomez turns to him and asks, “Between me and you?” The guys then remind Gomez that they’re talking about Leonard, and she nods. Samberg calls Leonard the backbone of the franchise to which Gomez says, “I personally loved Robinson and Duncan. It’s very hard.”"
Selena is busy, sure. But Kawhi Leonard was their guy. For her to not know what was going on, I question her fandom a bit.
We haven’t heard Samuel L. Jackson’s thoughts on the Leonard situation either, but he seems to give us more thoughts on Twitter than Gomez ever has.
Early risers can’t stay up late to watch basketball. When the Spurs won their last title, Jackson was pumped.
I love waking up to Good News. SPURS!! CHAMPS!! Way to take care of bizness. Congrats to All!!! I'm... YAAAAYYYYY!!!!!

Jackson didn’t tweet about the Spurs at all last season. With Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, and Kawhi Leonard gone, the team Jackson will be returning to will look very different. Gregg Popovich will still be around, though, and the Spurs should be a solid regular season team nonetheless. Maybe Jackson will return to commenting on the team this season.
