Toronto Raptors — Drake

Drake and the Toronto Raptors. There is a lot to digest here.

The Toronto-born rapper has been a public representative of the team for years, going to plenty of games during the regular season and postseason every year. The Raptors feel so strongly about Drake’s ability to spread the team’s brand that they have actually formed a partnership with him, saying this in January.

"“Over the past four years, the Raptors’ relationship with Drake has always ultimately been about celebrating this city and the people that make it unique,” Ujiri said. “We have something very special happening in Toronto and Drake is a big part of that. We’re looking forward to this opportunity to continue working together to inspire and support young people, to showcase this great city around the world and to grow the game of basketball.”"

Drake truly has a special connection with the Raptors.

Drake is a very passionate fan, always standing on the sidelines — potentially yelling at someone. He isn’t afraid to trash talk opposing players.

The Raptors now have Kawhi Leonard and have a shot at the Finals. If you have gotten tired of seeing Drake sitting courtside at Raptors games, you may not want to watch them this season.
