Top 10 NFL supporting casts for 2018 season

5. Atlanta Falcons
The 2017 Atlanta Falcons still had a great offensive unit, but it was a noticeable dip from the Kyle Shanahan-led group in 2016. And that’s why they’re ranked fifth despite having more talent than at least the next team. Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian must improve his game flow with playcalling for this offense to hit their ceiling.
Nevertheless, running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman headline a two-headed monster that boasts dependability and explosiveness. The run-blocking from the line is excellent, but Freeman especially maximizes the front with his patience and vision.
The receiving room became even stronger with the addition of Calvin Ridley, too. Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu will now be able to move around formations more frequently and produce mismatches that favor Ryan’s pre-snap intelligence. If tight end Austin Hooper breaks out this year, then they can catapult to the top of this list.
