No. 3 Geronimo Allison/Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Green Bay Packers

There has been a lot of talk that the Green Bay Packers are shopping veteran wide receiver Randall Cobb. This situation could have arisen because Geronimo Allison and Equanimeous St. Brown have developed quickly.

These two wouldn’t be so intriguing if they didn’t have Aaron Rodgers throwing them the ball. Rodgers has proven that he will spread the ball around and get everyone involved.

Allison has the upper leg at the moment based on his experience. He had some nice performances last year with Jordy Nelson out of the lineup. In fact, his play was one of the reasons the Packers let former preseason standout, Jeff Janis, leave via free agency.

St. Brown is an elite athlete with excellent size. He flashed big-time potential while at Notre Dame, but failed to perform with any consistency.

Green Bay drafted him based on that upside and the hope that working with Rodgers would spark him. His play during training camp has turned heads and St. Brown is pushing for playing time. It maybe a few weeks before he becomes fantasy relevant but is someone you should keep on your watchlist.

Keep an eye on Cobb’s status because if he isn’t traded he could potentially be released to create some salary cap relieve.
