Loser – David Beaty, Kansas

It’s hard to imagine things getting much bleaker for the Kansas Jayhawks. They made the decision to bring back a coach with a .083 win percentage in his three seasons as head coach and it looks like it’s more of the same.

The Jayhawks opened the season with a loss in overtime to Nicholls State. That was supposed to be the one win they could count on getting this season and now it’s reasonable to question if they’re even going to win at all.

While that might seem like hyperbole to some, it’s very real given the fact they are 3-34 under Beaty thus far. Turning around Kansas isn’t an easy task but if a coach has almost nothing to show for it early into his fourth season that’s a major cause for concern.

If Beaty keeps piling up losses to begin this season as expected, he should be one of the first coaches that are let go. There’s been zero progress from the program and things have gone from bad to worse.
