2019 NFL Mock Draft: Bills land Nick Bosa at No. 1
By Brad Weiss
Two years ago, the Dallas Cowboys were the class of the NFC, putting together the best record in the conference, and hosting a Divisional Round game in Jerry’s World. However, they ended up getting beat on their home field by the Green Bay Packers, and after a disappointing 2017 season, the hope is they can get back to the playoffs.
The Cowboys are going to finish anywhere between a Wild Card team, and out of the playoffs, as it looks like the Philadelphia Eagles are going to win another NFC East crown. The good news for Cowboys fans is they will have star running back Ezekiel Elliott for the entire season, if he stays healthy, and that could turn them into the division winner when it is all said and done.
Kicking off our Mock Drafts, we like the Cowboys to finish just outside of the playoffs, which means they will be picking in the middle of the first round. With that pick, the Cowboys should look to bring in another strong linebacker, and LSU outside linebacker Devin White has the skill set to start right away in the NFL.
White can play from sideline to sideline, and the Cowboys need some added depth at the second level of their defense. They have all the weapons they need on offense, and after the secondary taking a major step forward last season, good linebacker play may be just what they need to return to the top of the NFC East.
