2019 NFL Mock Draft: Bills land Nick Bosa at No. 1
By Brad Weiss
The Arizona Cardinals swung a deal during the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft to move up five spots, where they took UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen. During his short time with the organization, Rosen has really impressed his teammates, and while he will open the season as the backup to Sam Bradford, he has a very bright future in the desert.
Heading into the 2018 season, with Bradford under center, the Cardinals are one of those teams who are a major question mark. Sure, they are getting David Johnson back from injury after missing nearly all of last season, but how long can Bradford stay healthy, and how much does Larry Fitzgerald have left in the tank.
The defense is also another question, as they will not have Tyrann Mathieu in the secondary this season, as he left for the Houston Texans. Arizona does have some good players on both sides of the ball, but the NFC is loaded, and they should finish towards the bottom of the conference in a year that they will be rebuilding.
Williams is the kind of player who could be a franchise left tackle for the next decade at least, and after spending the first rounder on Rosen last year, they need that kind of stability. Johnson is an elite running back, so the talent is there on offense, and Williams would be that cornerstone of the offensive line every team needs.
