Week 1 of the NFL season kicks off this week which means its time to start getting your fantasy football lineups ready.

The daily fantasy world continues to evolve and grow in popularity. FanDuel remains as one of the go-to options in this type of setting. The ability to create a new lineup each week has plenty of appeal and adds a  new dimension to fantasy football.

This article looks at would be my ideal lineup for FanDuel purposes. Balancing your budget and finding sleeper picks are key.

My overall strategy in these daily fantasy leagues is to study the positions and see where those sleepers are available. This allows me to take a risk on one of the lower salaried players and load up on a few top-level players.

I’m willing to take that risk because the top tier players I added to my roster should be able to carry me should my sleeper fail to produce. It’s a situation where I’m basically willing to play a man down because of the talent at the top.

However, that’s not to say I’m expecting nothing from my low-cost pick. This week I used the Flex position to help save me money. It allowed me to grab a star running back and wide receiver.

My quarterback strategy for this week was in the same ball park. I went with a cost-savings option which helped spread the rest of my salary to those star players. Aaron Rodgers isn’t on my roster, but I don’t anticipate a major scoring difference between him and my choice.
