2. New York Jets

While it may seem like Sam Darnold can cure all, Jets fans, he’s going to need some help. What would be a better bailout option than Le’Veon Bell?

An all-around talent like Bell would be huge for Darnold’s early-career progressions, giving him a weapon that could carry an offense if need be.

The Jets are mostly average up front, but Bell could make anything work. It isn’t impossible to improve an offensive line a short amount of time (a year or two).

New York has been in the market for a pass-rusher throughout the preseason, showing specific interest in Dante Fowler Jr. and Shane Ray. With a decent backfield group in Bilal Powell, Elijah McGuire, and Isaiah Crowell, the Jets don’t need Bell. Whatever they could spend on him may be better used on a pass-rusher.

Why not kick around the idea, though?
