5. Andy Dalton will finish as a top-6 quarterback in Week 1

I’m feeling very bullish on the Cincinnati Bengals offense for this year. In fact, this entire team could be in for a great season. This particular prediction is centered around the first week of the season and Andy Dalton.

Cincinnati takes on an Indianapolis Colts team that has plenty of question marks on defense. This is especially the case at cornerback where Nate Hairston, Pierre Desir, Kenny Moore and Quincy Wilson top the depth chart.

The Bengals wide receivers should be able to find plenty of open space in this secondary.

A.J. Green remains one of the best receivers in the entire league while John Ross has showed signs of life during the preseason. Cincinnati also has sound pass-catchers out of the backfield in Joe Mixon and Gio Bernard.

Tight end Tyler Eifert is healthy at the moment which is a big boost for Dalton. Those two have a strong chemistry– especially in the red zone.

There are some top quarterbacks across the NFL who have tough Week 1 matchups. Aaron Rodgers faces a Chicago Bears team that just added Khalil Mack while New England is a tough place to play for Deshaun Watson.
