5. Take Baltimore -7 vs. Buffalo

In case you haven’t heard, the Bills are going to start Nathan Peterman in this game. That’s right, they are going to waltz into Baltimore with a quarterback who once threw five interceptions in a single half. That might be enough reason to give up the points and take the Ravens by itself.

Of course, there are more reasons to like the Ravens here. Their offense might be a question mark, but this defense is for real. The only weakness they have is at cornerback due to Jimmy Smith’s suspension. That’s not a weakness the Bills can really exploit.

The only question mark here is whether or not Joe Flacco can push the Ravens offense across the line. We’re willing to bet he can do just enough. Don’t buy into the hype that he’s coming off the preseason of his life, but the team’s decision to draft Lamar Jackson in the first round certainly got his attention. Flacco will make one or two big plays out of play action to loosen up the Bills defense. This won’t be a high scoring game, but the Ravens should pull away in the fourth quarter.
