The opening weekend of college football has wrapped up. Here are five players that helped their NFL draft stock the most this week.
As soon as the 2018 NFL Draft was completed, experts were publishing their “too early” 2019 mock drafts. A year ago those drafts likely didn’t include the 2018 first overall pick Baker Mayfield. It goes to show that as much as pre-draft rankings matter, the final year of tape is the biggest factor in evaluating a player’s draft stock.
Week 1 of the college football season was an exciting one and gave NFL draft fans a look at what are believed to be the nation’s top players. This list includes five players that impacted their draft stock the most.

5. N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State
Entering this season, the conversation surrounding the Arizona State Sun Devils was centered on new coach Herm Edwards. Watching the team this week, that conversation shifted to their dynamic wide receiver N’Keal Harry.
Harry was a human highlight reel in the opening game against UTSA. We may not see a better run after the catch than this touchdown.

A season ago, Harry looked like he was going to be a strong prospect. The conversation centered around his ability to win down the field. At 6-foot-2 and 216 pounds, he has the prototypical size for a redzone threat. His strength after the catch was apparent as well. He finished the first game with six catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns.
That play alone should increase his stock with his quick twitch ability and dynamic cuts. He is clearly the best talent on the Sun Devils roster and should be fed as such. If opening night is any indicator, Harry could be a frequent face on this article.
