The Green Bay Packers host the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football. Here’s what to expect in this primetime clash between these longtime rivals.

It’s one of the best rivalries when it comes to the National Football League. And on Sunday evening at Lambeau Field, it will be renewed for the 197th time.

This is been a one-sided series for quite a spell and most notably this decade. Dating back to the clubs’ second clash in 2010 and including the team’s NFC Championship Game encounter that year, the Green Bay Packers have prevailed in 14 of their last 16 meetings with the Chicago Bears. The team from “Titletown” has taken four straight, sweeping the season series each of the last two years.

Both of the clubs are looking to rebound from losing campaigns. For the Packers, a 7-9 finish in 2017 marked the first time the franchise didn’t reach the playoffs since ’08. For the Bears, who posted a 5-11 mark a year ago, they own a combined 19-45 record the past four seasons – all of those last-place finishes in the NFC North.

A year ago, the Packers swept this series for the second straight year. And the Bears fell at the hands of two different Green Bay quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Brett Hundley – the latter now a member of the Seattle Seahawks. That duo combined for five touchdown passes (4 by Rodgers) and zero interceptions in the sweep of a season ago.
