As Clemson prepares to face Texas A&M in College Station on Saturday, here is a look at how to watch this match-up.
Texas A&M’s new head coach Jimbo Fisher will get his first big test this weekend when his Aggies face off against defending ACC champion Clemson in front of a primetime audience. Both teams are coming off week one wins and looking for that strong 2-0 start. With two of the most colorful coaches in college football set to take center stage, this should be a good one.
The Tigers will roll into Aggieland fresh off a 48-7 domination of the Furman Paladins. Both quarterbacks saw action and Clemson’s high-powered offense never slowed down. Kelly Bryant started the game and threw for 127 yards with one touchdown, but the bigger story was the performance of talented freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The top-ranked recruit passed for 137 yards, threw three touchdowns and finished with a quarterback rating of 82.8 in his debut. While any two talented quarterbacks can have a field day against an FCS opponent, facing A&M’s defense is a different animal.
The Jimbo Fisher era kicked off the right way last week. A&M dominated Northwestern State 59-7. With the Aggies facing a quarterback controversy of their own this summer, Kellen Mond was named the starter and delivered against the Demons. Mond passed for 184 yards with two touchdowns and had one rushing touchdown. However, the man who stole last Friday was running back Trayveon Williams. The standout back ran for 240 yards and three touchdowns, certainly strengthening his case for the Doak Walker Award.
This game will air live on ESPN and fans can also stream it online with ESPN Plus with a TV provider login. As an alternative, this game can also be seen on Fubo TV.

Fisher faced off against Dabo Sweeney for years during his tenure at Florida State, so this one should be compelling. A win against a National Championship contender could definitely boost Fisher’s program as he looks to return A&M to prominence in the SEC.
