Cowboys at Panthers stream, odds, pick and prediction
Dallas travels to Carolina in one of Week 1’s most intriguing matchups. Cam Newton will have the Panthers ready to fly high against the Cowboys.
Week 1 isn’t full of marquee matchups in the NFL, but the Cowboys-Panthers game is one of the best of the weekend. Both teams will want to get off to good starts to the 2018 season to help improve their playoff chances down the line.
The Panthers, in particular, need to win this game at home. Battling the Saints and Falcons for the NFC South crown is priority one in Carolina. If they want to finish the season on top of the heap, they have to win almost every home game.
The Cowboys aren’t competing in quite as difficult of a division, but this is still a huge opportunity for Jason Garrett’s team. An opening win at Carolina could give Dallas a leg up on the rest of their division right out of the gate. Owning a tiebreaker against the Panthers could also be important in Wild Card scenarios late in the season.
This is a game you should make sure to watch. See the details below on how you can monitor the action.

The opener isn’t a must win game for either side, but the team that loses will view this as a missed opportunity. It’s probably slightly more important for the Panthers to protect their home turf, but winning could change the Cowboys’ expectations for the 2018 season in a hurry.
These are two talented teams, but neither roster is perfect. The oddsmakers don’t see a ton of difference between the two NFC squads.
