Ohio State and Rutgers will go head-to-head in a Week 2 matchup. A look at how to watch this Big Ten game online.

Week 2 of the college football season will arrive on Saturday, Sept. 6. It’s already in full swing, with big games already taking place and critical storylines unfolding. One of them, the situation around Ohio State, has been at the forefront.

For Saturday’s game against Rutgers, the Buckeyes will not have their head coach, Urban Meyer, on the sidelines. It’s the second or a three-game suspension for the domestic violence situation that surrounded ex-coach Zach Smith.

Without Meyer, Ohio State surged past Oregon State in Week 1, 77-31. This marked the full season debut of quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who took over for the long-time starter, JT Barrett, who finished his senior year in 2017.

For Week 2’s game, it’s a Big Ten matchup. Early in the season, sure, but it knocks off a conference matchup for both teams and moves the Scarlet Knights out of the way for OSU, who’s a 35-point favorite, according to Odds Shark.

Look out for another route by Ohio State, who could put up similar numbers to the blowout win over Oregon State. Unless Rutgers works some Appalachian State magic and makes it close, this has the potential to turn ugly fast. Expect a big day from Haskins and the Buckeye offense, 55-17.
