ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ returns for Week 2 on Saturday. The show will take place live from College Station, as Texas A&M prepares to host Clemson.
Week 1 of the college football season came and went and now the second week is already here. The first week of the season was an eventful one that saw some upsets, another near-Appalachian State upset, two legendary programs battling in South Bend and Nick Saban blowing up over a question about his quarterback. If Week 2 can build off the hype of the first week, the college football season is going to be that much better. Of course, ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ will be live again Saturday, to break down all the action.
The biggest game on the schedule for Week 2 is the clash between the Clemson Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies in College Station. It will be the first big test for the Aggies under Jimbo Fisher. The head coach that came over from Florida State has seen Clemson many times, but now he sees them again in a new place.
Date: Saturday, Sep. 8
Start Time: 9 a.m. ET
Location: College Station, TX
TV Info: ESPN
Live Stream: WatchESPN
The Tigers looked great in Week 1, and freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence looked the real deal. While Kelly Bryant had a great game as well, Lawrence proved that he may soon be the guy to take over the program at the quarterback if he can prove the offense will take off in leaps and bounds under him.
The show will likely discuss what the Tigers have at quarterback and how Texas A&M can put themselves in the best spot to maybe pull off an upset. Of course, there will be signs, Lee Corso putting on headgear and a celebrity picker. If Week 2 is half the week that first one was, college football should be exciting again on Saturday.
