College GameDay Week 2: Best signs from Clemson vs. Texas A&M

Taking a look at the best signs from College GameDay in week 2 from College Station ahead of the Clemson Tigers facing the Texas A&M Aggies.

The Clemson Tigers enter the second weekend of the 2018 college football season as the No. 2-ranked team in the country. However, they will be put to the test right out of the gate as they must travel to College Station to face the Texas A&M Aggies, a team now led by a familiar foe in Jimbo Fisher. Subsequently, bringing College GameDay here for Week 2 was an easy call.

Both Clemson and Texas A&M came out with a big win last weekend, the Tigers topping Furman easily and A&M rolling over Northwestern State. Suffice it to say that neither team was really put to the test, but they certainly will be this week.

For Fisher, this is all about proving himself. He has a fantastic talent in running back Trayveon Williams, but he’s rarely faced a defense like the one that the Tigers have this season. As for those Tigers, they have offensive questions of their own. They’re insisting on running a two-quarterback system with Kelly Bryant and Trevor Lawrence, but might one pull ahead definitively in this battle on Saturday?

No matter if Fisher and the Aggies are able to pull off the upset or not, they were able to bring together a raucous crowd for GameDay. In the end, that’s all you can ultimately ask for from a Saturday morning. Having said that, we could stand to see some more quality GameDay signs moving forward.
