Danny Garcia vs. Shawn Porter live stream: Watch online
By Nick Tylwalk
One of the best possible fights that can be made at welterweight is set to take place in Brooklyn on Showtime, and we tell you how to watch it live.
The welterweight division is one of the most stacked in all of boxing, but the pecking order should be slightly more well defined late Saturday night. That’s because Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter are about to collide for the WBC welterweight championship, battling for the belt that used to belong to Keith Thurman.
Both Garcia and Porter lost to Thurman, but not by much, emphasizing how close tonight’s fight could also be. Their styles should also mesh very well; Garcia prefers to be a counter-puncher, while Porter is a more aggressive fighter who has no problem brawling when necessary.
It’s a compelling matchup, one that could lead to even more huge fights for the winner, along with another world title and some serious bragging rights. The Showtime Championship Boxing card also features two other fights, as Adam Kownacki will face Charles Martin and Yordenas Ugas takes on Cesar Barrionuevo.
The card gets going at 9:00 p.m. Here’s all the info you need to watch it live.
