Top 3 DraftKings NFL Stacks for Week 1

Fantasy football is back! If you are as psyched as I am, you know that it takes an elite stack to take down a GPP on DraftKings. Here are three stellar DraftKings stacks as you focus your Saturday in perfecting your lineups (unless of course you are knee-deep in college football):

DraftKings NFL Stack 1: Staying Pat with New England!

QB: Tom Brady ($7200)

RB: Rex Burkhead ($4200)

RB: Carlos Hyde ($4500)

WR: Chris Hogan ($6100)

WR: Keelan Cole ($3800)

WR: Larry Fitzgerald ($6600)

TE: Rob Gronkowski ($6900)

FLEX: Melvin Gordon ($6800)

D: Ravens (or Vikings, whichever you prefer) (Ravens $3800, Vikings $3400)

Get exposure to the steadiest offense that you could ask for with this interesting stack. You get Brady, Burkhead, Gronk and Hogan, so that (at least in my mind) you will get the lions share of the targets in this game. Burkhead is simply too cheap at $4200, and Hogan ($6100) is the most familiar wideout. Gronkowski ($6900) is like having another receiver. Carlos Hyde ($4500) seems kinda cheap to me, so I am willing to take a flyer knowing he performed well last year.

Keelan Cole ($3800) is the key to affording almost any lineup this week against a bad Giants defense. Larry Fitzgerald ($6600) is playing from the slot and may be the apple of Sam Bradford‘s eye this week. Oh, and do me a favor and play the Vikings or the Ravens on D, they have the most talent and decent match-ups in my mind.

DraftKings NFL Stack 2: ‘Zona in the End Zone!

QB: Sam Bradford ($5200)

RB: David Johnson ($8800)

RB: Melvin Gordon ($6800)

WR: Larry Fitzgerald ($6600)

WR: Dede Westbrook ($3900)

WR: Danny Amendola ($4200)

TE: Ricky Seals-Jones ($3000)

Flex: Leonard Fournette ($7100)

D: Vikings/Ravens: see explanation in Stack 1

Sam Bradford has shown that he can be good in the right situation, which is more than anyone priced at $5200 can normally say. David Johnson is one of the best and most consistent in the business at $8800. I already explained Fitzgerald above. Westbrook gives you another look if you believe in him over Keelan Cole. Danny Amendola probably has to catch some passes for the Dolphins, who typically play well at home, but for $4200 he just has to give me a few targets and a TD. I think he can. Ricky Seals-Jones had a few big games last year, and we know Bradford can hit his tight end well and is very efficient with short throws. Gordon ($6800) and Fournette ($7100) both face very bad defenses and have 20 point potential. If this works out, you will be pretty close to taking down a GPP.

DraftKings NFL Stack 3: Dominance from the District

QB: Alex Smith ($5600)

RB: Alvin Kamara ($8500)

RB: Christian McCaffrey ($6400)

WR: Jamieson Crowder ($5000)

WR: Adam Thielen ($6900)

WR: Danny Amendola ($4200)

TE: Jordan Reed ($4000)

FLEX: Alex Collins ($5600)

D: Vikings or Ravens again

I like Jordan Reed for $4000 because he is a talented tight end and Alex Smith is comfortable going to his TE on a regular basis (Travis Kelce). Alvin Kamara ($8500) could go off in a way we’ve not seen before with more touches. McCaffrey is $6400 against a middling Dallas D and he is a dual-threat with Stewart out of the picture. Crowder ($5000) could run the kind of routes that Smith hit Tyreek Hill, which gives him boom-or-bust appeal. Thielen ($6900) had some huge games last year and Alex Collins ($5600) looked pretty great at times too for $5600.
