No. 8 DJ Chark vs New York (Giants)

Chark is the deep deep sleeper that I couldn’t help but have on this list. They’ll say avoid these Jags receivers. After Marqise Lee went down this team looks a little barren. I think Chark can change that.

No Allen Robinson, no Lee, no Hurns. It’s a lot of new for Bortles in the lead passing game. Like the Bears above there’s a lot of speed for the Jags still. Chark is a great possession receiver who can elevate the guys around him.

If Fournette gets the wheels turning early, Bortles confidence to go deep could grow as well. Bortles hate is somewhat still at an all-time high even after an AFC title game appearance. Finding a way to use the receivers on this roster to the best of their ability will silence a lot of doubt.

The Giants defense gave up bunches of yards and two-plus touchdowns in three of the last six weeks in 2017. That’s better than most but if the long ball is there, a player like Chark with a high average YPC at LSU could make some noise.
