No. 5 Josh Doctson vs Arizona

For Washington, the hope is that Doctson can return to form. For fantasy owners it’s a lot of the same. Docston was a later round pick up that is a guy you want to play at the flex. With Alex Smith taking over in Washington under center, the ball should be spread out a lot like it was in Kansas City.

That bodes well for a guy like Doctston who made the most of a full season with the Redskins last season. 35 receptions, a career high 502 yards and six touchdowns.

Fun flash back, the Cardinals in week one last year gave up a combined 245 yards and 3 touchdowns to the Lions.

It’s an interesting situation in Washington with not only Smith but Adrian Peterson in the backfield. Doctson should step up another level in 2018 and if you missed out on a key middle round pickup and need a receiver he might just be that guy.
