16. Jimmy Garoppolo (LW: 13)

Garoppolo finally lost a start, and he did his part in the defeat. The 49ers watched as Garoppolo threw three interceptions, struggling to withstand the heat of the Vikings defense. It was an ugly performance, but Garoppolo has a chance to bounce back next Sunday at home.

15. Alex Smith (LW: 17)

In a different shade of red, Smith still looked right at home with the Washington Redskins. The 34-year-old threw a pair of touchdowns and typically avoided any mistakes, leading Washington to a convincing 24-6 win. Next up? The Colts.

14. Patrick Mahomes (LW: 18)

Mahomes was fantastic on Sunday, and was both better and lesser than the box score indicated. His four touchdowns were split between two phenomenal throws and two shovel passes. His completion rate (55.6%) was knocked down by a pair of Hail Mary attempts and a handful of wise throw-aways. All in all, very impressive stuff from the kid.

13. Jared Goff (LW: 15)

Goff doesn’t wow you with any one thing, but he gets the job done. Against the Raiders, the former No. 1 overall pick hit on 17-of-32 for 229 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Nothing about the performance was memorable, but it was a solid showing.
