2019 NFL Mock Draft: Justin Herbert heads to Giants
By Brad Weiss

12. player. 10. . Wide Receiver. Ole Miss. AJ Brown
The Houston Texans had a tall order to start the 2018 NFL season, as they had to go into New England to take on the Patriots. Playing the Patriots has been the kryptonite for the Texans since they came into the league, and with their loss on Sunday, they ran their record to 0-7 against the reigning AFC champions.
Houston got starting quarterback Deshaun Watson back from his torn up knee for Week 1, and he definitely had some rust on him. That should not last long, and in a few weeks, the Texans will be right back in the hunt in the AFC South where they belong.
One of the key positions for the Texans is wide receiver, where they have one of the best in the game in DeAndre Hopkins. Houston also has a speedy compliment at the position in Will Fuller, but a guy like AJ Brown would be way too tough to pass up at this point in the first round.
In Brown, the Texans would have a dangerous 1-2 combination with Hopkins, and that would free Fuller to be more of a dangerous threat down the field. Watson needs all the weapons he can get, because he has the talent to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and he is still so very young.
