Tight End: George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

vs. Detroit Lions, Sunday 4:05 p.m.

FanDuel Cost: $5,600

Kittle led all 49ers pass catchers with nine targets and has quickly become one of Jimmy Garoppolo’s favorite targets. He was able to put up some solid numbers against a very tough Minnesota Vikings defense.

San Francisco ran into some bad luck against the Vikings which led to turnovers and less offensive opportunities. Kyle Shanahan will look to tighten things up during practice this week. This is an offense that ran pretty smooth late last year once Garoppolo took over.

The 49ers have an easier matchup this week against the Detroit Lions who just surrendered 48 points to the New York Jets.

Backup Option: Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts

@ Washington Redskins, Sunday 1:00 p.m.

The Indianapolis Colts didn’t have an offensive explosion against the Cincinnati Bengals, but Andrew Luck looked to be slowly rounding into form. He quickly reestablished his connected with tight end Jack Doyle.

Luck’s deep ball is still lacking which is a cause for concern. However, that plays in the favor of Doyle who works over the middle and the underneath routes.

Doyle had the second most targets for the Colts in Week 1 behind only T.Y. Hilton. That trends shouldn’t change any time soon. Doyle is one of the team’s more experienced and reliable pass catchers.
