Week 2 is just about here and there’s a lot of tough matchups and injuries that are shaking up the Fantasy Football Rankings this week but we’re here to break it down!

This is the last article of the week, but I’ll be on Twitter all weekend long so don’t hesitate to reach out and talk football or just life in general on @bucn4life and we can chat about how I’m ranking everyone in my Fantasy Football Rankings. As a reminder, I’ll be doing a Fantasy Q&A Sunday morning on Twitter to answer last-minute questions. Catch you guys on Twitter Sunday Morning!

Fantasy Football Rankings – Quarterback Ranks, Week 2

1. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers vs Kansas City – I’m not concerned about the elbow at this point.

2. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints vs Cleveland Browns

3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers – It’s going to be shootout city in Pittsburgh

4. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

5. Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions – This might be the best fantasy game we’ve seen to date from Jimmy G

6. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings

7. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins

8. Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons

9. Philip Rivers, Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo Bills – Will Rivers be sharp in the dreaded 1pm start for West Coast teams?

10. Alex Smith, Washington Redskins vs Indianapolis Colts

11. Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans

12. Tyrod Taylor, Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints – He was over 24 points in poor weather and going 15/40

13. Tom Brady, New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars – The Patriot skill players are worse than the AFC Championship Game last year

14. Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears

15. Case Keenum, Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders

16. Mitchell Trubisky, Chicago Bears at Seattle Seahawks – I actually like Keenum and Trubisky a lot this week but it’s such a crowded position

17. Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers

18. Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals

19. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons vs Carolina Panthers

20. Nick Foles, Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The matchup can’t get all that much better given the state of the Tampa secondary.

21. Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars vs New England Patriots

22. Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

23. Eli Manning, New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

24. Sam Darnold, New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins – Let’s see what the rookie has in a more competitive game

25. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants

26. Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans

27. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Philadelphia Eagles – Philly is going to be in his face all day long

28. Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

29. Sam Bradford, Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams

30. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills vs Los Angeles Chargers

Fantasy Football Rankings – Running Back Ranks, Week 2

1. Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals – It seems bad to give up the most rushing yards in the league and then face Gurley the next.

2. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints vs Cleveland Browns – Kamara laughs at your regression talks

3. James Conner, Pittsburgh Steelers vs Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs got destroyed by the running back position and Conner will see 20+ touches

4. Melvin Gordon, Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo Bills

5. David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams

6. Christian McCaffrey, Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons – The injuries could not have broken much better for CMC this week.

7. Saquon Barkley, New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys

8. Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants – Does the Dallas offense have enough of a passing game to create lanes for Zeke?

9. Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

10. Jordan Howard, Chicago Bears vs Seattle Seahawks

11. Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

12. Adrian Peterson, Washington Redskins vs Indianapolis Colts – Yes, it’s 2018 and I have AP as a top 12 back. I’m not exactly happy about it either.

13. Lamar Miller, Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans

14. Leonard Fournette, Jacksonville Jaguars – I’m holding my breath he makes it through this game. If he sits, T.J. Yeldon would be right around this range for me.

15. Tevin Coleman, Atlanta Falcons vs Carolina Panthers – I’m not ranking Devonta Freeman currently. He’s still not back at practice a full week after a game. That’s a bad sign.

16. Kenyan Drake, Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

17. Jay Ajayi, Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

18. Chris Thompson, Washington Redskins vs Indianapolis Colts

19. Dion Lewis, Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans

20. LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills vs Los Angeles Chargers – If Denzel Perryman is out for the Chargers, McCoy might creep up to 15 or so

21. Alfred Morris, San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions – Morris is going to put himself back on the fantasy map in a big way

22. Royce Freeman, Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders

23. James White, New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars – I’m assuming Rex Burkhead is out right now.

24. Duke Johnson, Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints

25. Isaiah Crowell, New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins

26. Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans

27. Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears

28. Carlos Hyde, Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints – I like Johnson a little better because of expected game script but Hyde should still be plenty involved.

29. Bilal Powell, New York Jets vs Miami Dolphins – Powell and Crowell are going to eat into each other to a frustrating extent

30. Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings

31. Phillip Lindsay, Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders

32. Marshawn Lynch, Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

33. Matt Breida, San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions – Breida could pay off this week alongside Morris

34. T.J. Yeldon, Jacksonville Jaguars vs New England Patriots – If Fournette is out, Yeldon slides up and Corey Grant might be right around here

35. Peyton Barber, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Philadelphia Eagles

36. Kerryon Johnson, Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers – He’s the most talented back on the team, I’m just not sure if he’s going to lead them in touches.

37. Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo Bills

38. Darren Sproles, Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – I have a feeling he breaks off a fairly long touchdown

39. Nyheim Hines, Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins – PPR leagues only

40. Ty Montgomery, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings

Fantasy Football Rankings – Wide Receivers Ranks, Week 2

1. Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers vs Kansas City Chiefs

2. Odell Beckham Jr., New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys – Primetime and he’s coming off a game where he ripped up the Jaguar secondary(Eli overthrew a long TD pass)

3. Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints vs Cleveland Browns

4. Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons vs Carolina Panthers – Can this man find a map to the end zone? Could Matt Ryan complete a pass to Jones if he was wide open in the middle of the it?

5. Tyreek Hill, Kansas City at Pittsburgh Steelers

6. DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans

7. Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers at Buffalo Bills

8. T.Y. Hilton, Indianpolis Colts at Washington Redskins – With a game under their belts, Luck and Hilton are going to hook up for a touchdown just like old times

9. Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

10. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Pittsburgh Steelers vs Kansas City Chiefs

11. Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints

12. Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings

13. Emmanuel Sanders, Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders  – Sanders and Keenum look great together

14. Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers

15. Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Philadelphia Eagles

16. Golden Tate, Detroit Lions at San Francisco 49ers

17. Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams – Larry is the GOAT but I’m not super comfortable with him against this defense with how bad Bradford looked

18. Demaryius Thomas, DenverBroncos vs Oakland Raiders

19. Kenny Stills, Miami Dolphins at New York Jets

20. Nelson Agholor, Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

21. Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals – I tend to think Brandin Cooks sees a good bit of Patrick Peterson in this game

22. Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears vs Seattle Seahawks

31. Jamison Crowder, Washington Redskins vs Indianapolis Colts

32. Amari Cooper, Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos

33. Brandin Cooks, Los Angeles Rams vs Arizona Cardinals – He’s a little scary if he gets Peterson but Sean McVay can get him open a couple times.

34. Pierre Garcon, San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions

35. Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings

36. Sterling Shepard, New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys

37. Kenny Golladay, Detroit Lions vs San Francisco 49ers – It’s so difficult to rank the Lions receivers every week

38. Sammy Watkins, Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

39. Dante Pettis, San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions

40. Ted Ginn, New Orleans Saints vs Cleveland Browns

Fantasy Football Rankings – Tight End Ranks, Week 2

1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers

2. Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars – I’ll have some popcorn ready if we get Gronk on Jags corner Jalen Ramsey for a lot of the game

3. Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

4. Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins vs Indianapolis Colts

5. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions – I’m assuming Marquise Goodwin misses this game, which is why Pettis made the to 40 at receiver as well.

6. Ben Watson, New Orleans Saints vs Cleveland Browns

7. Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts at Washington Redskins

8. Trey Burton, Chicago Bears vs Seattle Seahawks

9. David Njoku, Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints

19. Ian Thomas, Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons

FanDuel NFL
Jalen Ramsey and the Jacksonville Jaguars could be a top FanDuel NFL pick on defense again this week. As they have been all season. /

dark. Next. Week 2 Fantasy Football Start or Sit

Defense is really pretty difficult this week. I didn’t want to spend a waiver claim on the Chicago defense but everyone else figured it was going to be worth it. If it makes anyone feel better trying to pick between these last few defenses, I played Baltimore in a lot of leagues last night. Hopefully your defense does better than that one!
