College GameDay heads to Dallas, TX, for a Week 3 battle between Ohio State and TCU. Who will Lee Corso choose for his headgear pick to close the show?

College GameDay will hit the road for Week 3, with a usual panel of Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and other experts that weight in on the weekend’s action. For Saturday, Sept. 15, they will be in Dallas, TX, for a game between No. 4 Ohio State and No. 15 TCU at AT&T Stadium.

To close each show, at 11:59 a.m. ET, Corso makes this headgear selection. It’s arguably the most dramatic and entertaining part of each show and a GameDay tradition that lives on.

For this matchup, Corso must choose between the Buckeyes and the Horned Frogs. Which mascot head will he don to kick off the weekend’s games?

Ohio State enters this game without its head coach, Urban Meyer, for the final time, due to a three-game suspension for the domestic abuse events around former coach Zach Smith.

So far, OSU sits at 2-0, with wins Oregon State and Rutgers. Both were dominant victories against lower-tier teams, making Saturday’s game vs. TCU the biggest test by far.

Quarterback Dwayne Haskins will lead the Buckeyes into AT&T Stadium, after two strong performances to open the season. Against Rutgers, he threw for 233 yards and four touchdowns, while JK Dobbins and Tate Martell added over 160 yards on the ground.

TCU found easy success in its first two games, as well, with wins over Southern and SMU by a combined 78 points. Dual-threat quarterback Shawn Robinson has led the way, with seven total touchdowns in the air and on the ground.

Like Ohio State, this will be the Horned Frogs’ top test of the early season. Can they secure a non-conference win to jump into the top 10 of the college football rankings?

This matchup has season-changing stakes, and it’s only Week 3. So, who will Corso choose outside of “Jerry World” on Saturday morning?
