We’re diving into the sleepers at wide receiver this week. Who could elevate your receiver core or secure you the victory at the flex? Let’s find out.

You may love these guys. You may hate these guys. You may even fear finding a spot for them in your lineup. It’s early in the season, this we know. It’s hard to find that perfect guy to step in when your best aren’t enough. Especially heading into the bye weeks to come for guys in your lineup, these guys should produce in week 2 and potentially deep into 2018.

Whether it be a Steelers offense without Le’veon Bell or a Bills offense now helmed by Josh Allen, here’s ten wideouts who could cash in during week two.

9. Courtland Sutton vs. Oakland

Courtland Sutton sits behind one of the better duos in the league in Denver but could be great boom or bust potential in leagues this weekend against the Raiders.

The Raiders didn’t get gauged in the pass game but the Rams posted a perfect balanced front per usual against them. Royce Freeman should find his groove but Keenum is more than ready to sling it right now. Thomas and Sanders will eat against the secondary and that should give plenty of room for Sutton among that linebacker core.

He’s the 3rd guy in Denver and that shouldn’t be a bad thing. Say coverage goes heavy towards Thomas or Sanders, that third option tends to get the targets. PPR leagues get ready for that potential, don’t count on it but there’s a lot of potential for him there.

8. Austin Carr vs. Cleveland

Austin Carr came out of nowhere. Alright not out of nowhere, but still securing that starting spot in this Saints offense is a big deal.

This Saints team isn’t happy after last week. Kamara dominated and they still lost at home. That’s tough. Michael Thomas torched Tampa Bay and they still lost at home. That’s even tougher. Carr could be a secret bright spot in this offense this week.

Only two targets last week makes this a tough get but Carr as a sleeper slot player could pay off. Brees is balanced around the entire offense, that’s for sure. They were playing catch up last week and that’s when the big dogs ate. More balanced, Carr could find himself a target in red zone opportunities or when Kamara becomes a double cover out of the backfield.
