With just two weeks left of the fantasy baseball season, these pitchers should be added to your playoff team.

While everyone is focusing on fantasy football, the fantasy baseball playoffs are underway. Depending on how your league is set up, you may be on your way to the championship round or you’re competing for the trophy already. Regardless, you should be looking to bolster your roster any chance you can.

These three starting pitchers have been solid performers over the last month. They also have favorable matchups in their next start. With their low ownership percentages, they will be readily available to add to your team.

Reynaldo Lopez

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned Lopez’s name multiple times throughout the season. But it’s for good reason. He’s shown in small doses that he has the skill to be a successful starting pitcher.

Over his last four games, Lopez has thrown 27.0 innings and allowed two runs on 15 hits and six walks while striking out 28 batters. That’s four straight quality starts with two wins mixed in.

More from FanSided

Lopez makes his next start against the Chicago Cubs on Friday. While that may be a tough matchup, he’s stifled some good offenses in this last stretch. He will likely start against the Indians or Twins in the final week.

Lopez is owned in 39.4 percent of ESPN leagues.

Brad Keller

Keller has been eating up innings for the Kansas City Royals over the last two weeks. He has 28.0 innings with 22 strikeouts, six walks, 29 hits and eight earned runs. Keller is 2-1 with three quality starts in that span.

He gave up four runs in six innings to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday. That is a speed bump considering the recent success he’s had.

Keller will take the mound again on Saturday when he faces the lowly Detroit Tigers. If he pitches after that, he’ll take on the Cleveland Indians.

Keller is available in 75 percent of leagues.

Sandy Alcantara

I recommended Alcantara as a DFS play for his last start. He pitched seven innings and gave up two runs on two hits and three walks against the New York Mets. He also struck out six.

He pitched seven shutout innings against the Philadelphia Phillies in the start before that. Alcantara will take on the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday. Thankfully, this start is at home and not at Great American Ballpark.

Alcantara will either face the Washington Nationals or the Mets (for a third time) in the final week. He’s owned in 16.5 percent of leagues.

These three pitchers aren’t going to make a run for the Cy Young award. But they do have the ability to make a difference in your fantasy baseball league. If you need pitching help, look to these pitchers.
