8. Kirk Cousins (LW: 7)
Cousins is fifth in the league with 669 passing yards, so far living up to that massive $84 million contact. The former Redskins pupil isn’t going to wow you with incredible throws or awesome arm strength, but he makes all the plays he should make while sprinkling in the high-end tosses.
7. Patrick Mahomes (LW: 14)
What else is there to say? Mahomes is the league’s MVP to this point, throwing 10 touchdowns without a turnover. The second-year man was spectacular against the Steelers, going for 336 yards and a half-dozen scores. If Mahomes continues to play like this, we’re looking at the NFL’s next great quarterback.
6. Carson Wentz (LW: NA)
Wentz will be making his debut on Sunday against the Colts in front of the home fans. After being laid up for the last nine months, how quickly will Wentz be able to shake off the rust and get Philadelphia’s offense humming again? Undoubtedly, the Philly faithful will be patient.
5. Russell Wilson (LW: 5)
Wilson didn’t play well on Monday night, but what do you expect? The Seahawks might have the worst weapons in the league, especially with Doug Baldwin hurt. The offensive line allowed pressure throughout the evening, and while Wilson was able to throw for 226 yards and two scores, it wasn’t enough in the Windy City.
