The Green Bay Packers played to a tie this past weekend, as they could not put away division rival Minnesota at home. Of course, the Vikings were aided by a terrible roughing the passer call on Clay Matthews, but hey, who are we to judge.

The bottom line is, the Packers are going to be picking twice in the first round next year, thanks to the trade they made with the New Orleans Saints during the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. That pick will be their first of the first round in 2019, and they should look to add to their offensive line with the selection.

When it comes to guards, Beau Benzschawel is the cream of the crop of this draft class, and should be the first one off the board. The Packers have a need at the guard position, as their offensive line has shown way too many holes this season, and star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is taking way too many hits coming off a broken collarbone last season.

The Packers need to be able to protect Rodgers better, as we have seen what happens when he is not lined up as the starting quarterback. DeShone Kizer should not see the playing field at all costs, and if the Packers add to their offensive line depth via the NFL Draft, they will be giving more protection to their No. 1 asset.
